After five years away, the New England States Rivalry Challenge is officially returning in 2026.
Built around the pride of representing your state, the Rivalry Challenge has long been one of the most exciting youth hockey events in the region. Now, after five years, the tournament is back, bringing together top players from across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, and Vermont for a weekend of elite state-vs-state competition.
The 2026 event will once again showcase some of the best young talent in New England, with teams competing in a fast-paced tournament format that highlights skill, teamwork, and the pride of playing for your home state.
The tournament will take place over two action-packed weekends in Exeter, New Hampshire:
June 5-7, 2026: Boys 2010 – 2011 – 2012 – 2013
June 12-14, 2026: Boys 2014 – 2015 – 2016 – 2017 – 2018/19
Players, coaches, and families can expect a high-energy atmosphere, competitive matchups, and a weekend filled with unforgettable moments on the ice.
